Last year on MLK day Elli and I went, and that was the only other time I've been. Let's just say Jack and I had a near run of the place. Though not sure going to the NASCAR Hall of Fame is an appropriate MLK celebration. 


But as the car lover he excitedly ran up the ramp screaming each car's color as he passed by. I was studying this passage in a Bible study this past week, which led into a conversation about how we address God.  Abba is the Aramaic word for "dad" or "father." It all began as a dream...

When I started at First Presbyterian, there were 15 condo projects being prepped to build in Uptown Charlotte.  Since that time, I believe 4 have been completed, while all the rest have stalled.

Cooke’s sermon last week has stuck with me.  She said that Jesus is not interested in having fans but followers.  As Panthers season approaches, I appreciated this analogy.
